Dear Friends of the Institute,
I have been thinking of you often and hope this message finds you healthy and safe amid this unprecedented challenge. Jock and I are thankful to be home in Maine, where we have taken some comfort in the first glimpses of springtime in our great state.
During this difficult time of uncertainty and separation, it is more important than ever to keep in touch with each other. Meaningful connections are the very foundation of the Institute’s work, and, with the world changing daily in response to the COVID-19 crisis, we are taking special care to maintain these connections and continue advancing our critical mission.
Moving forward, we will be increasing the frequency with which we share information with you all—though we promise to keep our emails brief and uplifting!
We have temporarily transitioned to online programming and networking opportunities for Olympia’s Leaders, yet we remain determined to be there for them even though we cannot currently be there with them.
As I write this, our phenomenal Institute team is preparing to mail letters to all 540 Olympia’s Leaders in order to ensure that program content reaches each participant and keeps them connected to the curriculum, which has become deeply meaningful for the girls, their advisors, and the future of our state.
As we navigate a new normal during this pandemic, I am profoundly grateful for your tremendous support in all ways. The Institute is enormously fortunate to have such a remarkable network of people who believe in and contribute to our mission.
I look forward to seeing all of you when the appropriate time comes. Until then, please be safe, keep well, and stay in touch!
Best always,
Olympia
