Welcome Kelly and Rizzajem

PORTLAND, ME –The Olympia Snowe Women’s Leadership Institute (Institute) has welcomed two new full-time employees to its staff.

Kelly Warsky and Rizzajem (RJ) Reboquio join the Institute in serving 575 Olympia’s Leaders (OLs)—program participants, 228 Olympia’s Leaders Advisors (OLAs)—business and community leaders serving as their mentors, and 38 School Contacts as they navigate the Institute’s accredited “My Values” (10th grade), “My Voice” (11th grade), and “My Vision” (12th grade)—which raises the confidence and aspirations of high school girls by helping them develop the skills required to be leaders in their lives, families, careers, and communities.

Kelly Warsky joined the Institute as Director of Stakeholder Events.

In this role, she manages the Institute’s wide range of program and development events, including an annual Fall Forum delivering individualized tracks for nearly 1,000 participants and a Leadership Luncheon welcoming more than 600 supporters for remarks from Senator Snowe, Olympia’s Leaders, and special guests.

For more than 30 years, Warsky has managed events and experiences within the retail industry, including two decades spent at L.L.Bean—most recently as Senior Manager of Brand, Retail, and Employee Experience.

Warsky holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Government from Clark University and was a participant in L.L.Bean’s Corporate Mentor Program. She lives in Scarborough with her partner and children.

Rizzajem Reboquio joined the Institute as Alum Relations & Data Specialist.

In addition to managing the Institute’s Student Information System and program data, she provides Alum support for more than 800 former students and Alum Chapter support for the University of Maine, the University of Southern Maine, and Husson University. Reboquio is an Institute Alum, having graduated from the Institute’s Lewiston High School cohort in 2019.

Reboquio has extensive knowledge of information systems and experience working in Student Success at Maine Business School, Information Services at L.L.Bean, and Data Entry at Electro Static Technology.

Reboquio holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Information Systems and Security Management from the University of Maine. She lives in Lewiston with her family.

Reboquio shared,

“As a graduate myself, I have a deep appreciation for the creation of a new role to support Olympia’s Leaders, build Alum offerings, and strengthen the Institute communities. This stems from the valuable guidance and unwavering support I received from the Institute and my OLAs during high school, throughout my college years, and beyond—support and experiences that have profoundly shaped my life. After navigating post-secondary life and college during the pandemic, I have a better understanding of the positive impact our Alum Network and Alum Chapters can have. I am eager to touch the lives of current and future students by actively contributing to the Institute’s mission.”

The Honorable Olympia J. Snowe, Former U.S. Senator and Institute Founder, added,

“Kelly and RJ round out a team of exceptionally high-performing individuals dedicated to developing the confidence, aspirations, and leadership skills of Maine’s rising leaders. Their work is already allowing us to scale and create efficiencies in our systems, deliver stronger events and experiences, and create opportunities for Institute Alums as they navigate post-secondary life and enter the workforce. It is a special treat for us to now work with, and learn from, RJ—who I met on her first day as an Olympia’s Leader in 2015. She is a true testament to what can happen when women embrace and stay engaged with their communities!”
