Women leadership group hopes new Vice President will serve as powerful example for the country
“The historic achievement is one that will serve as an example to young women around the country,” said Christina McAnuff, the Executive Director for the Olympia Snowe Women’s Leadership Institute.
The Institute was founded by Maine’s Former Senator [Olympia Snowe] and pairs female high school students with women leaders from the public and private sector to serve as mentors around Maine.
“I hope we’re all learning that what’s possible may be different than what we thought before.”
