Every Olympia’s Leader works toward seven measurable outcomes:
- Self-Knowledge: understanding and embracing their values, strengths, and passions
- Appreciate Difference: navigating perspectives unlike their own
- Build New Skills: active listening, openness to new ideas
- Communicate Proactively: presenting ideas clearly and respectfully
- Take Action: tackling discomfort, owning their choices and future
- Mentor & Connect: building meaningful relationships across generations
- Stronger Network: a support system built to last well beyond graduation
Progress is tracked through surveys at the start, middle, and end of the program — data that proves the model works and helps keep it free.
Earn While You Learn
The curriculum is credit-bearing. Each year holds an opportunity for OLs to earn a digital badge: My Values, My Voice, and My Vision. When fully completed, they combine into a micro-credential worth three college credits, transferable across the University of Maine System, along with many of Maine’s community colleges, private colleges, and universities. All free, so that no student pays a single cent.
