Thank you for your interest in learning more about the Olympia Snowe Women’s Leadership Institute and how to become a volunteer!

VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES

PROGRAM:

  • Volunteer as a Guest Speaker, up to once per year, typically in March. You would attend a small-group meeting to share your story—professional, personal, or both—with current Olympia’s Leaders.
  • Supporting Olympia’s Leaders and Alums in Career Exploration, as needed and available. You would share about your industry, profession, and/or passion—along with paths to pursue them—at an in-person Institute event, small group meeting, or via individual connections.

DEVELOPMENT:

  • Help with fundraising efforts, on an ongoing basis. You would work with the Institute’s development team, which raises 100% of the organization’s annual operating budget to deliver the program at no cost to Olympia’s Leaders or Partner Schools.

EVENTS:

  • Help with an Institute event, as needed and availableYou would help staff with preparations—such as nametag and material assembly, event-day execution—such as setting up decor or staffing a registration table, and/or event follow-up—such as writing thank you notes.
